It’s Award Season!

It’s awards season!

It’s the season of glitz and glamor, and nothing quite says fame and fortune like an awards ceremony in a traditional English hotel.

While we’re not heading to the Oscars or the Brits, we’re absolutely delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted for three awards – who needs Hollywood anyway?

So, without further ado, let us reveal the awards we’ve been nominated for so far this year.

Business Champion Awards

In the past 12 months, we’ve been doing what we can to ensure BTS is as sustainable as it can be – that’s why we’re over the moon to have been shortlisted in the Sustainable Business category of the Business Champion Awards.

We heard on the grape vine that the competition was tough, with over 800 amazing businesses entering the awards – so we’re pleased that everything we’re doing to protect the planet is enough to have caught the attention of the judges.

After being shortlisted, we had to host a presentation in front of a panel of judges. Fingers crossed all went well, but we’ll find out in March when we attend the awards dinner hosted at London’s glittering Canary Wharf – wish us luck!

Made in the North East Awards

Next up, we have Insider’s Made in the North East Awards, where we’ve been shortlisted in two categories: Sustainable / Ethical Manufacturer and Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m).

Again, we’ve made incredible progress for a manufacturing business when it comes to cutting our carbon – so it would be incredible to be noticed for the difference we’re making.

But, with so many other worthy contenders, we’re simply delighted to have been nominated.

The North East Awards ceremony will be hosted this March in Gateshead, with the potential for winners to go through to the national final, Made in the UK Awards, which will be held in June at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.

Federation of Small Businesses Awards

And last, but by no means least, we’ve been shortlisted in the FSB awards for the second year running, and we’re very happy about it.

We’re up for two awards, the Sustainability Award and the Family Business Award.
