MEET THE TEAM

Philip joined BTS in 2009 following 23 years with a leading supplier in the Cladding Fabrications sector with 12 years experience on the shop floor to become a qualified tradesman. For the remaining 11 years of his tenure he worked his way up to be Commercial Manager looking after 35 million pounds of Sales. In 2006 whilst at night school Philip graduated in a CMS course in management studies.Philip’s experience and industry knowledge with the back up of a great team helped turn around and grow the fledgling BTS business into what it is now. Philip and his close team worked very long hours in the early days to help fund a revolution of investment that continues to this day. The recent strategy is to automate the production processes and invest heavily in design, software and a unique ERP system wrote by us for us.This strategy culminated in a £600,000 investment in new offices that showcased our Vantage Rainscreen systems that Philip closely managed. Phil’s mission is for BTS Facades & Fabrications to be one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of rainscreen systems and metal fabrications. Phil’s favourite part of the job is watching and nurturing staff to excel and come through the ranks. Phil encourages all the management to be leaders working by example to empower staff. Phil enjoys a pint of Guinness, football, skiing, travel, family life and ballroom dancing.

Marcia started her tenure in 2009 working part time being responsible for the accounting and Human Resource functions within the business.Marcia has worked and managed in many major businesses and graduated from college with business management qualifications.Self taught, her biggest accolade is when the senior team meet with our accountant and they tell her that her our accounts are first class. Marcia excels in people management and leads the Human Resources function within the business. Marcia has been instrumental in writing our company handbook and instilling a culture of fairness and democracy through rules.Marcia was the architect on our business expansion into new offices. Her vision of light and open space has come to fruition. Her eye for class has brought her many plaudits, none more so than at our very successful recent official open day to celebrate our move into new offices and show off our major investment in automation Marcia enjoys yoga, keep fit, ballroom dancing, travel and spending time with her children.
