It’s in the name – facades and fabrications – but let’s be honest, we don’t always shout about the fabrication side of things.
The truth is, fabrication is our bread and butter. It’s how BTS started out, and it’s what’s helped us grow into the business we are today.
Sure, we’re seriously proud of our rainscreen systems, but did you know we still manufacture a whole range of high-quality fabricated products too?
Especially now, with our recent investment in the TRUMPF 5000 punching and forming machine, our production capacity has practically doubled – meaning we can offer even more flexibility, precision, and speed.
What does that mean for you? Well, most of these products are straightforward for us to manufacture and many are available on our X-Press service, so you get them quicker than you might expect.
Let’s take a closer look. Here are 10 things you might not know we make (but definitely should)…
Plenum vents
Ideal for maintaining airflow in your façade system, our plenum vents are fully customisable and designed to integrate seamlessly with your cladding.
They’re manufactured with precision to ensure efficient ventilation without compromising aesthetics.
Curved and bespoke flashings
No shape is too tricky – we can create bespoke flashings to suit even the most complex of designs. Curved, folded, notched – you name it, we’ll fabricate it to fit perfectly with your façade.
Louvres
Our louvres don’t just look good – they offer functional airflow and solar shading too.
Available in a variety of sizes and finishes, they’re perfect for plant screens, ventilation points, or aesthetic detailing.
Membrane lined gutters
These are a practical solution for managing rainwater on metal-clad buildings.
By combining metal fabrication with a fully bonded membrane, you get a gutter that’s both strong and watertight – ideal for long-term performance with minimal fuss.

Coping systems
Our coping systems are a straightforward way to weatherproof parapet walls and give your project a neat, finished look.
They’re fabricated to spec and available in a variety of powder-coated finishes to suit your design.
Powder coating to replicate stone or GRC
If you’re after the look of stone or GRC without the extra weight or cost, powder coating can be a handy alternative.
We offer a range of finishes that mimic natural materials while keeping things lightweight and low maintenance.
Curved or square column casings
We’ve been fabricating column casings for years – it’s something we know inside out.
Whether they’re curved, square, or something more bespoke, these are a tried-and-tested way to tidy up structural elements while complementing the overall façade design.
Powder coated aluminium hoppers and architectural pipework
These are a bit of a staple in our workshop. We’ve built countless aluminium hoppers and pipework for over a decade – all fully powder coated and made to order.
It’s a practical solution for rainwater management, and one we’ve refined through years of experience.

Soffit systems and balcony fabrications
Soffit and balcony fabrications are a common request, and we’ve built up real know-how in getting the details right – whether it’s for residential schemes or larger commercial jobs. Clean lines, smart finishes, and built to last.
Mesh and perforated panels
Perforated panels are nothing new to us, we’ve been producing them in various patterns and finishes using our Salvagnini S4 and Trumpf 5000 punches.
Whether they’re used on balconies, screening, ventilation, or for visual impact, we can advise on what works best and fabricate to your exact spec.
We have been collaborating with the Expanded Metal Company for over 6 years now and our tested meshes are as popular as ever.
With lots of different meshes and available finishes including mill finish, powder coated and anodised, we have the ability to create a perfect aesthetical look.
Oh, and don’t forget – many of these products are available via our X-Press Service – so if you’re in a pinch, we’ve got your back.
Or if you have a specific requirement or a quirky design idea, just give us a shout. Chances are, we can make it.
