BTS enhances sponsorship with local football team

The team at BTS have decided to support our local football team by becoming sponsors in a bid to increase support for our local community.
 
Going forward, we’ll be key sponsors of Aycliffe Football Club, donating funds, equipment and most importantly, attending matches to ensure we’re fully involved and emersed in the club’s activities.
 
Our financial sponsorship and commitment to the club will help the team plan ahead and look to the future with confidence
 
Our managing director, Philip Atkinson, said: “Since the majority of employees BTS are avid football fans, it made sense for us to fund and support a cause the team enjoy.

“I met up with the chairman, Alan Oliver and Brian Atkinson, the club’s manager, who greeted me with such passion and enthusiasm, I simply couldn’t say no.
 
“The partnership has been spot-on so far. The team over there have had a full-on factory tour, and they’ve even gifted us four season tickets which I can’t wait to use.
 
Since the partnership, we have had signs installed across the stadium thanks to William Smith, a local company, who even agreed to create our ‘family stand’ sign free of charge – it’s fair to say it looks the part.
 
Peter Young, the Assistant Chairman, said: “BTS is a growing local company, with a local workforce. To have the clubs name linked with local businesses is part of what we hope and look for.
 

“We are not an Arsenal or Manchester United with our support drawn from all over the country and the world. We are supported by local people and to ally that support with local companies and local businesspeople is what we all want.
 
“It’s a collaboration and we can use our social media presence to help spread the word about our sponsors and supporters. It is in all our interests to support and promote each other.”
 
This isn’t the first time we’ve explored the world of CSR, earlier in the year we were able to loan our land to a local pup training club, where we witnessed how powerful a community can be when it comes together.
